The University of Connecticut is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the IT Accessibility Coordinator. This position provides primary leadership and assistance to the University to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and other relevant federal and state laws pertaining to IT accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The IT Accessibility Coordinator will have demonstrated knowledge of disability access specific to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which includes, but is not limited to: University websites, online learning environments, course management systems, electronic books and documents, search engines and databases, classroom technology and multimedia, information kiosks and transaction machines, multifunction office machines, videos, software, and applications. Responsibilities include collaborative leadership on ICT access, including interpretation and implementation of applicable regulations related to ICT.

Responsibilities include the overall management, direction, and day-to-day activities for the core, distribution and access tiers of the University network as well as the wireless and data center networks.
